Children of all ages are always welcome at Golden Strip Church of Christ.
Children’s bible classes are on Sunday and Wednesday evening.
You will discover a loving group of people…
…bound together in Christ, who seek to live, fellowship, and worship according to the principles of Jesus Christ. We are not perfect and do not expect perfection. We are not judgmental, but we are trying to live right according to the teachings of the Gospel. We have been shown mercy, grace, love, kindness, patience, and we want to show that to each other and you.
You will witness worship that is simple, orderly and scriptural. We are told that we must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24) and do so decently and in order (I Corinthians 14:40). Therefore, you will find that the items of worship authorized in the New Testament are things we practice.
Sermons and prayers are led by men of the church. We sing acappella praises to God as a congregation. We give without compulsion and by free will. We remember our Lord’s sacrifice through taking of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. You will hear sound Biblical themed sermons preached each Sunday morning and a systematic study of the Bible in the afternoon. The goal is to know God and His Word.
